Our Story
FirstMed healthcare was founded in the year 2020 with an aim of providing compassionate and culturally sensitive in-home palliative care services that are deeply rooted in cultural awareness and sensitivity.
My conviction came about in 2019 after we experienced first hand frustrations and a lot of Challenges trying to get quality services from healthcare providers for my Dad who was undergoing Cancer treatment and also regular wound dressing after a surgery. I was angered and made me truly understand what many patients and families go through in such circumstances.
It was this experience that pushed me to be more curious to finding solution for families that experience such frustrations and confusion. I decided that the only way for me to make a difference was to start my own company that would specialize in addressing the diverse needs of individuals and families seeking end-of-life care solutions that offer personalized care and enhance their loved ones comfort and dignity.
This is how FirstMed Healthcare was born.
